Since its inception in 1986, inspired by the spirit of the 1984 Olympics, the Los Angeles Marathon has grown into the 4th largest marathon in the United States and one of the most iconic marathons in the world, creating a profound sense of community and inspiration.
As we look forward to our 40th running in 2025, we invite you to join us in reflecting on the beautiful journeys, shared triumphs, and transformative moments we’ve experienced together, with exciting commemorative events and surprises in store to honor this milestone.
