No, there is no gear check at the Boston Waterfront 5k
Yes!
Participants can purchase access to the VIP tent during registration.
Medals will be given to top overall male, female and non-binary and by age group:
- 16 to 19
- 20 to 29
- 30 to 39
- 40 to 49
- 50 to 59
- 60 to 65
- 66 and above

Yes! The Finish Festival will take place at the Leader Bank Pavilion after the race from 10:15am – 12:00pm. Participants, friends, and family are welcome to join us for music, beer garden (21+), food and more!

- We will have a 5K VIP option - fundraise the $150 entry fee or pay it up front
It will close the morning of the race or at sellout, whichever comes first. Walk-up registration will be available on race day if the event has not sold out.
No, we do not offer refunds, deferrals, or transfer of registrations.
BIB PICK UP

Bib numbers will be assigned dynamically when you check it. We do not pre-set bib numbers.

FUNDRAISING
Fundraising is NOT required for participants who paid their entry fee, however, all participants will receive a fundraising page when you register. If you sign up using the 5K VIP entry with fundraising option, you are committing to a $150 minimum requirement. Fundraising rewards are available to all those fundraising for The McCourt Foundation.
If you do not meet the requirement within 2 weeks following the race date, your credit card will be charged the difference.
No, your card will not be charged if the optional fundraising goal isn’t met.
All participants who reached a fundraising reward level ($300 and above) who are eligible (excludes those participating on a Non-Profit Partner team) may visit the rewards table at check-in and during the finish festival to redeem their rewards.
